Refund Policy
Clear, generous, and written in plain English. If you are unhappy in the first two weeks, we will make it right.
Subscriptions — first-payment refund
You can request a full refund on the first payment of a new subscription within 14 calendar days of the charge, provided usage does not exceed our fair-use threshold (below). Subsequent renewals are refundable on a pro-rated basis at our discretion; we prefer cancellation in advance of renewal.
One-time purchases
One-time purchases of domain packs or the Mock Vault are eligible for a full refund within 14 calendar days of purchase, subject to the same fair-use threshold. After 14 days, one-time purchases are non-refundable since access is permanent.
Fair-use threshold
To keep the refund policy sustainable, we consider excessive usage in the refund window to be inconsistent with a good-faith evaluation of the product. The thresholds are:
- Subscription: no more than 25% of the full question bank viewed.
- Domain pack: no more than 25% of the pack's questions viewed.
- Mock Vault: no more than one full mock started and submitted.
Edge cases are handled by a human, not a policy engine. If you think your circumstances are unusual, write to us and we will work something out.
How to request a refund
Email billing@examussim.com from the address on the account. Include the approximate date of the charge and, if you are willing, a sentence on why the product did not work for you — we read every note and use it to make the product better. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days after approval.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us first, we will respond to the dispute and may suspend your account during review. We would much rather hear from you directly — we are a small team and we reply quickly.
